It mounts on either a wall or ceiling, which makes it a flexible answer for hallways, aisles, balconies, porches and staircases where a plain fitting would leave the space feeling unfinished. Resin holds fine detail well, so the petal edges stay crisp rather than looking moulded.

Light is thrown both up and down through the layered petals, washing the surrounding surface and creating soft shadow patterns rather than a single flat pool. Two LED sources sit behind the resin, together covering roughly 5 to 10 square metres, and the painted finish is available in green or pink so the fixture can be matched to an existing colour scheme. Used in pairs along a hallway, the fixtures create an even rhythm of light and shadow.

The frame behind the resin is iron for rigidity, and a knob switch is fitted for direct control at the fixture itself. Assembly is required at installation, the fitting accepts a wide 90 to 260V input, and bulbs are supplied separately so you can choose a warm colour temperature that complements the soft tone of the petals. The painted surface wipes clean easily, which keeps the colour looking fresh over time.

Design and Style

The layered petal form is the whole design, and it works because the petals overlap rather than sitting in a flat rosette. That overlap is what produces the shadow detail when the fitting is lit, and it gives the piece depth in daylight when it reads as a sculptural object on the wall or ceiling. The soft painted finish keeps it decorative rather than glossy or plastic-looking, and it suits cottage, coastal, French country and softly contemporary interiors. Because the shape is organic rather than geometric, it forgives a slightly irregular wall or an off-centre position far better than a rectangular fitting would.

Where It Works Best

Its dual mounting is the reason to choose it: the same fitting can go on a ceiling in one part of a house and a wall in another, which lets you carry one decorative idea through a hallway, a stairwell and a porch. It suits entrance halls, aisles and corridors, stair walls and half-landings, covered porches, balconies, conservatories, bedrooms and dressing areas. On a stair wall in particular, mounting two or three at consistent heights following the rake of the stairs is a considerably better result than a single fitting at the top. The 5 to 10 square metre coverage makes it a decorative and supporting light rather than a room's main source.

Choosing the Right Colour

Several shade colours are listed above, and the choice changes the character of the piece completely. The softer greens and whites recede into a pale wall and read as texture, which suits a hallway or a stair where the fitting should be noticed rather than dominant. Pink and yellow are warmer and more decorative and work best where the fitting is meant to be a feature - a bedroom, a dressing area or a porch with a painted door to match. Two option series are listed for each colour, so confirm the exact selection before ordering, as details vary between the versions offered.

Lighting and Atmosphere

Two sources firing up and down through the petals is what produces the effect: the upward beam throws the petal edges as shadows onto the surface behind, and the downward beam gives a soft pool below. That combination is far more interesting on a plain wall than a single flat pool, and it is why this fitting belongs on a surface with room around it rather than tucked behind a door or a shelf. Since the bulbs are not included, choose warm lamps to complement the soft painted tone; cooler lamps sharpen the shadow detail but flatten the colour of the shade.

Installation Considerations

The fitting requires assembly and can be mounted on a wall or a ceiling, and it needs a mains supply at the mounting position, so it should be wired by a competent electrician unless there is already a suitable point. The knob switch on the fitting means it can be operated directly, which is useful on a stair or in a porch where the nearest wall switch is inconveniently placed. Leave clear surface above and below the fitting so the up and down beams have somewhere to land - mounting it tight under a ceiling or immediately above a picture rail loses half the effect it was designed for.

Shade: moulded resin petal design

Colours: green or pink painted finish

Frame: iron

Light sources: 2, LED bulbs not included

Output direction: up and down

Switch: knob switch

Coverage: approximately 5 to 10 square metres

Mounting: wall or ceiling, assembly required

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1098/0622/3699/files/generated_05fd3685-2d77-4def-9057-59640fdb1578.png?v=1787429928
https://elumalighting.store/products/cream-green-petals-ceiling-lamp-hallway-aislebalcony-porch-stair-ceiling-light-wall-sconce-resin-flower-wall-lmap-indoor-decor
